About

Laura Stieglitz
I have dedicated countless hours of hands-on experience and training towards my passion as an Elite Newborn Care Specialist. Knowing that I can truly help new parents start their journey with their little ones in the most educated and empowered way possible is a true joy. I believe in being a proactive partner with the parents, adapting to the family’s individual needs, and applying my years of training and experience to handle any challenge. Whether I’m establishing healthy sleep patterns, reviewing baby gear for the car and nursery, or managing sets of multiples, my first priority is giving the highest quality of care to the newborn. Through parent education, I strive to create a sense of calm and confidence for the family, especially for first-time parents who may need additional guidance to give their new baby the best start possible.
Additionally, I have experience with a wide variety of special needs children, including premature infants, orthopedic conditions, special dietary needs, reflux, allergies, feeding challenges, colic, and eczema. I consider adaptability to be one of my greatest strengths, whether it is for the baby’s needs or the parents’ needs. I am continually seeking out educational opportunities to help expand on my knowledge of early childhood development and work hard to remain up to date on best practices in newborn care. Plus, as a certified Postpartum Doula, I am fully qualified to assist the entire family with adjusting to a new baby. Even in my first career with the Navy, I enjoyed working with newborns and infants. Essentially, I have spent a lifetime becoming an excellent Newborn Care Specialist through exhaustive training, dedicated experience, and a true passion for this making this critical time in a family and child’s life as successful and positive as possible.
